I've been getting numbers from this number twice a day Monday to Friday, it seems like they have been calling like this for the past month.. It's driving me mad!! does anyone know who they are? Does the do not call register actually work? I'm thinking of putting my numbers down if it does!!

i got the same call but it was from Dallas TX. i just recently updated my resume on monster.com also. i had a feeling that when they never mentioned the company name, it being automated and the time of day they called it couldnt be real.

I've recieved two different calls from this number today, one on my cell phone, and one on my work phone.
They both used a synthesized speech message, "Hello, because you are a valued (First was Walmart, second was Canadian Tire) customer, you have been chosen to receive 3000 travel dollars. Press 1 to accept.
I'm thinking that both Walmart and Canadian Tire should be going after these nuisance callers for misrepresentation. I'm pretty sure Walmart has a monster legal team, and could destroy these guys pretty quickly.

To remove your number from the 08000 483 792 company:
Call 08000 324 617and choose Option 1 to remove your number from their system.
This company is not Sky themselves, but a marketing company for them. I called Sky and they removed me from that list using the 08000 324 617 number. They said pass this info along to everyone as the last thing they want is their customers annoyed by these phonecalls and possibly leaving them because of it! Hope this is useful to someone. Ive had over 100 calls from them, early, late etc.
Ive had them banned so all they get is an engaged tone. Yet they still ring, as it shows on my call log.
When will they learn?!!

I too have been called by this number today. They got my answer phone, as I was busy, but did not leave a message after listening to my entire pre-recorded message. We have a block on tele sales, which works very well and the ones that slip through the net hang up as soon as my recorded message starts.
Odd - wish I knew who it was as well!
I'll post again if I find out.

I have had at least 6 calls from this no. recently, always claiming to be surveying for HM Customs. Each time I have old them I am not interested (I never answequesions from unsolicited calls) and asked them to stop calling. The last call, this morning just after 10am, the lady was very rude and tried to tell me that I had to answer her questions because it was for customs and I had been specifically chosen, when I refused she became very rude and when I asked her to stop calling my no. she refused and told me they would keep calling until I answered their questionaire. How do I get rid of these rude horrible lying people? My hubby is disabled and as his full time carer I really could do without this extra stress.

I got a call from this number. It started with a lot o f static and then a womans voice came on speaking spanish saying that I had won a prize, and to claim the prize I had too press a certain number. I hung up right away.
